Project Basics and Pricing

Explore costs and payment structures for our branding services.

  • How much does a branding project cost?

Unfortunately, there isn't a one-size-fits-all answer here. Every project truly has different needs.

To give you a more concise answer though, my packages start at $2000.

  • How do payments work?

Most projects are divided into two payments: a 50% deposit and 50% final payment, due net 15. On larger projects, we can set milestones for payments. Payments can be made by credit card, ACH bank transfer, Paypal, or check.

  • How long does it take to complete a branding project?

Depending on the number of deliverables involved, it usually takes me anywhere from 2-3 weeks for a logo project and up to 2 months for a standard brand identity package that has some additional pieces of collateral.

Project Timelines and Communication

Discover how we'll connect and collaborate on your project.

  • How will we communicate?

Unfortunately, there isn't a one-size-fits-all answer here. Every project truly has different needs.

To give you a more concise answer though, my packages start at $2000.

  • How can I be sure I’ll like what you design?

A branding project involves a lot of information gathering: we’ll discuss your business goals, history, audience, competitors, brand personality, and more. This sets parameters that guide the design. Since you’re helping to set those parameters yourself, you can be confident your brand identity will be just right. Read more details on the process.

  • But what if I still don’t like it?

I get it, it's a big step. I do offer revisions where we can go back on a design concept to rework it. If no matter what we do, you are not happy, no worries – you'll only be billed for the work done beyond the initial deposit, up until you call it quits.

  • How do I know we’re a good match for each other?

Please take a look through my portfolio and make sure that you like my style. The logos and brands you see on there are the kind of work that I naturally create.

Design Services and Deliverables

Details on the creative assets and services you can expect.

  • Do you provide editable source files?

Yes, I do. Unlike some who charge extra, I include editable source files for all final designs at no additional cost.

  • Can you manage the printing of my project?

Absolutely, I can handle your project's printing. If you've got a go-to print vendor, I can provide the files. Otherwise, I'll oversee the whole process, from selecting vendors to final delivery, adding a nominal fee for my services. You'll pay the printer directly, ensuring transparent costs and facilitating your future reprints.

  • We need a website, too. Can you help?

I focus on brand design, leaving web projects to specialists. I suggest partnering with a dedicated web team, who can use our brand guide to ensure consistency. I'm available for strategic design consultations to align the website with your brand identity.

  • Do you do copywriting?

I craft names, taglines, and short brand messages. For extensive copy like brochures or websites, you'll need a copywriter.

  • Can we just hire you for a small design project?

I do offer a retainer-based graphic design solution. Please contact me to discuss my availability.

  • How long does it take to complete a branding project?

Depending on the number of deliverables involved, it usually takes me anywhere from 2-3 weeks for a logo project and up to 2 months for a standard brand identity package that has some additional pieces of collateral.

Choosing the Right Designer

Learn what sets my design approach apart from the rest.

  • How are you different from others offering to design my brand?

My edge lies in empathy and specialization. Unlike marketing agencies that juggle design as a side gig or studios that outsource, I'm solely focused on brand identity and understanding your business.

You get a dedicated expert crafting your visual identity personally, ensuring consistency and quality. After we nail your brand design, teaming up with a top-notch marketing agency can then amplify your visibility.

  • How picky should I be when getting a logo for my business?

Yes, be discerning with your logo choice. It's more than just an image; it's your brand's public face, constantly at work across all mediums. It's crucial not just to focus on the logo but to ensure your designer crafts a comprehensive visual identity that's unmistakably yours, even without the logo in sight. This ensures consistency and recognition across all touchpoints.

  • I already know what I want, can you just make it?

If you already know exactly what you want and just need someone to execute it, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

  • What if you haven’t done any work in my industry before?

No worries if I'm new to your industry. While familiarity might seem comforting, my broad experience brings fresh perspectives, avoiding clichés. I'll research your field, understand the norms, and tailor the design to either blend in or stand out, as needed. Great design transcends industries.

Collaboration and Location

Find out how we can work together, no matter where you are.

  • Can we still work together if you're not local?

Definitely! Being in different cities is no barrier; I've successfully collaborated with 98% of my clients remotely. We can make it work smoothly through live and pre-recorded video communications.
